Emerging Leader Award

Year 2018

One of my most memorable occasions where I was able to receive the Emerging Leader Award from the President of the University of Manitoba. Only 40 students each year from both Bachelor's and Graduate level are selected for this one time prestigious award.

Volunteering

Year 2017

This was one of my accomplishments where me and my wife was able to participate as volunteers for the Canada games in 2017 (Winnipeg, MB). I was lucky enough to hold the Canadian Flag for the National Anthem during the  ceremony.

Cricket Awards

Year 2019

I'm very much passionate about cricket and other outdoor games. In the year of 2019 I was able to win two prestigious awards including Most Valuable Player (MVP) and most number of sixes award. Further, I was the leading wicket taking bowler for the year 2020 for Bloomfield Cricket Club (Winnipeg, MB)

Best Local Raw Material Award

Year 2008/09

As a undergraduate student from Wayamba University of Sri Lanka we won the 2nd place in Pro-Food Pro-Pack International Food Exhibition. I was lucky to be a member of the winning team. Our Faculty and Department's first ever international victory
